Edison Stock Ticker Tape Machine & Base Sorry, This Item Is SOLD!!!
This ticker tape machine certainly qualifies as a museum piece! Most of them are seen only in old movies. This is a model 35A, made by Edison in the 1920's. These machines were used for eighty years, starting in the 1870's. It is a very complete and original machine, down to the thick 9" tall glass dome. The dome has no chips, cracks or imperfections. It has a main line sounder by W.O. Telephone Co., and a teletype in front of the dome (which is not original), attached to the mahogany base. The machine stands 44 1/2" tall from the base to the top of the dome. A brass museum type description label was added later. The iron base of the pedestal is 18 1/4" square. The pedestal cabinet is of mahogany, original finish. Label inside reads "John E. Sjostrom, Woodworkers". There is still a 12" piece of ticker tape inside the machine. This stock ticker came from a collection in Omaha, Nebraska. We really cannot say enough about this stock ticker. It is better than museum quality, and would be the crowning touch to a stock brokers collection, or would make a stunning lobby display! Please be patient for five larger pictures to download,....time is ticking away, so invest your money now!$18,750.00
